Spriggan Mark 2 (SCD)
Text for all levels have been dumped.
Awaiting translation for level 3-8. Level 1
& 2 have a partial test insertion. I added
Mutliple Byte Encoding compression scheme
and change the font to 8x8. I've decided to
change the font to 8x12, but I'm not using
the original games text routines.

The control codes and text string headers
are a somewhat complex because of the ADPCM
functions and mid text onscreen character
pics changes.

I'll putting out beta test patches in the
near future.
Gensou Tairiku Auleria (CD)
This is a side veiw Action/RPG CD 2.0 game.
The text has been located and is
uncompressed SJIS as with most SCD/CD games.
I've hacked the font routine to show 8x8
chars. I plan to upgrade the game to SCD to
store an 6x12 font set.

This is a side project of mine so it is of
low priority.
- Current Projects -
Animefx's project. I wrote an ascii and MTE
compression routine. The text routine jumps
to ascii routine if a control code is
encountered. I added automatic line
rap-around and pause at end of text box
support that wasn't in the game originally.

This was needed for the compression scheme
to work without worrying about character per
line limit, etc. The game text has been
located and is mostly uncompressed SJIS
along with compressed single byte kana. I'm
not sure on the progress of the script dump.

Still needs a replacement font routine. If
all goes right, I'll be able to store a 6x12
font set in VRAM were a large existing 8x8
set is residing. Unlike Spriggan 2, I don't
plan to over write the original text
routines, but append to them instead.
Cosmic Fantasy 4 - Chapter 1 (SCD)
Makai Hakkenden Shada (Hucard)
My first Hucard project. I managed to change
the font and dump the games text in one day.
All I need now is to find someone to
translate the script and then I can
re-insert it. The control codes and pointers
for this game are pretty simple.

The game itself is plays like Ys I & II,
although not as smooth. I haven't played
through this game, but judging from the
number of tiles, it appears to be pretty
small. The game used 3bit method(8color) to
store its tiles. It seems a lot of Hucards,
especially early ones, use 8color tiles
instead of the native 16color tile.
Sindibad Chitei no Dai Makyu (Hucard)
Another Hucard project. I located and
changed the font. I found the text and
figured out most of the control codes. I
just need to figure out the rest of the
control codes (if there are more) and dump
the script(all kana). I don't have a
translator from this project either.

The game reminds me of Dragon Quest meets
Sinbad. The graphics are around average at
best - but still playable. Definitely has an
old school feel.
Lady Sword (Hucard)
This is Fillers translation project. He's
already dumped the script and started the
translation. The compressed font has been
found and replaced (8x16). An ingame text
compression routine still needs to be
written for the replacement text.

The game is pretty cool. I've played up to
the second level. The graphics are pretty
good and are correct for its time. The music
is pretty good too. You get a mapped near
the beginning of the game, so this makes
dungeon crawling much easier. The first
level has a few mini-bosses and a final boss
right before you take the ladder to the next
level.
BubbleGum Crash (Hucard)
BubbleGum Crash. Straight from the series
comes the digital comic adventure for PC
Engine. Upon investigating a recent bank
robbery incident, you soon learn that things
aren't quite what they appear to be.
